1. Zambia : First Lady Receives Hospital Beds, Sewing Machines

   First Lady Mutinta Hichilema has received 200 hospital beds from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Zambia (CCCZ) aimed at improving maternal health delivery in the country. Mrs Hichilema also received 200 sewing machines meant to support women through skills empowerment.

2. MoH records 1,622 cholera cases, 30 deaths

   HEALTH Minister Prof Roma Chilengi has disclosed that as of October 28, the country had recorded 1,622 cholera cases and 30 deaths. Meanwhile, Prof Chilengi says the outbreak has affected 20 districts in six provinces, with Lusaka recording the highest number of cases at 1,090.
